And the community has been very visibly (and audibly) upset by this... attempt to take over, for mistaken ideals, community, to put it lightly. Kicking out a key founder - the one who practically BUILT Deviantart html tag by html tag, php line by php line, pixel by pixel, shutting up about it, then converting a community into a corperation.
Thus many people have made their voices, in the polls, the posts, the journals... but what about the rest?
Much of the community, the DA community, is made up of little folks like me, who have less than a dozen deviations, few comments, favourites, pageviews etc, who keep quiet, who visit now and then, who, unnoticed, help the website tick over by popping in and updating every few weeks or so.
Do not think you can fool us also, "Board of Directors". We, the lurkers, the majority of members the rest has never heard of, keep silent, but we watch, and know. And we are the ones who can take ultimate action to resolve the issue with nobody the wiser.
If you choose to remain silent over this matter, babbling about everything else - summits and corporate moves, new rubbish - waiting for it to blow over, tinkering with the policies behind backs, like the politics of subverting a nation, you better watch your step.
Silence cannot collide with silence; one has to be louder, revealing itself through attempted apparent absence.
While the community's voice will drown out the decoy babble, the nothingness of the rest will drown out the concealed substance behind this plot.
And this is not just philosophy or literary glaring; The fundamental principle behind existence, that governs the movements of this situation too, is that far more forces are at work than what can be seen, heard, and assumed to exist.
